According to locke: "When ideas are in our minds, we consider them as actually being there, as well as we consider things to be actually without us: which is, that they exist, or have existence: and what ever we can consider ass one thing, whether a real being or idea, suggests to the understanding the idea of unity."
I kind of agree with Locke, because if there is an idea in our mind then it must exist, but if u don't see it right now, doesn't mean that it doesn't exist!

I agree with you as well. I really thought the example someone used in class was great. She said that she cannot see the person behind her but she hears him moving and making noise so she knows he's there.
I also blogged on this piece.. I also agree because sometimes we may not have something physically but it doesnt mean that it doesnt exist.
right, like the example the teacher gave in class, i think that if there is something that happened somewhere our eyes can't see and ears can't hear, doesn't mean that they don't exist!
i like the way Jasmin put on her blog about her necklace concept, something that we don't have physical with us, doesn't mean that it doesn't exist.
i think everything is in the eyes of the beholder where if they believe in the mind that certain things exist or not.
like the concept of god, we really don't know if he existed or exist, but it's all in the eyes of the beholder.
oh yeah, the whole if i can't see him behind me but you still know that he's behind me was a classic!\
it's true thought, this concept proves that something can exist but you can't visualize it!
i agree with you ally if there is an idea in our mind then it must exist and if you dont see it doesnt mean it doesnt exist one the best examples will be god. We dont see god but we know it exist!!!
