in this passage, Locke had commented that it is contradicting to him that truth can be imprinted on the soul, if there is such thing as the truth being innate in our human mind than there won't be perceiption in certain things. He said that if the truth us imprinted in humand mind and is babies and idiots have souls, minds, they must not be perceived by false opinion. But everyone knows that we all get perceived by certain things. So According to Locke the innate of truth don't exist in our mind or soul.

u are going to get mad at me, but i think its true because in what i read he mentions the fact that our minds can't reach that certain level of knowledge. so even though we have the truth within us we can not tap into that space full of truth if u get what i'm saying. we cant use or comprehend that type of knowledge because our minds have a limit. but if truth is inside of us and we cant access it who is to say that truth exists?
i'm glad that you agree with me, and when i read further on, locke also mention that our idea is also not innate, with the same concept of truth where, because the fact that babies don't know the difference between bitter and sweat without tasting it first.
Well what can i say i do agre with both of you.Even though we have the truth within us , we do not really use it.we cant use or comprehend that type of knowledge because our minds have a limi. Seems like we know whats right but we still go for the bad things and dont follow what the minds says!!
