Hume's Probability

he belief that there is no such thing as Chance in this world, but he do belief in probability.

He said, "if a die were marked with one figure or number of spots on four sides, and with another figure or number of spots on the two remaining sides, it would be more probable, that the former would turn up than the latter"

I am kind of mutual with hume probability. There is a little probability that there is a chance in this world. Seens we are Human being we sometimes believe in that and end up losing. An example will be the gamblers.

Liz, i think that Hume propose the problem on Probability is just to show that he believe in probability, it's true, and undisbutable unlike the problem on god.

but what if we say that all men have the probability of getting married. doesn't that give more evidence to the probability case?? we know that most men want to get married and will at least try.

I think the problem that Hume propose only say that There are probability of how many girls and guys in the world to get marry, but doesn't mean that they will, i don't know if u understand my example!
