if it were repugnant to his goodness to have created me such that i be deceived all the time, it would also seem foreign to that same goodness to permit me to be deceived even occasionally. But we cannot make this last assertion.
in this excerpt Descartes questions gods goodness. saying if he as god is so god why do people get deceived. Descartes questions if he himself at this very moment as he is writing is being deceived. is he a tool put to lie to his readers, maybe god is using him to question his existence.

i don't know about you, but i think this guy is thinking too much, hehe, he does raise a great concept about how do we know if god really exist, and if he does, are we just a tool to him?
i don't think anyone can answer that question for him, but god!
listen over i have thought and thought about whether god was real or not and i believe that he is in all those who believe in him. he is not necessarily in all of us because there are some people that don't believe in him because he cant be proven to exist. for example a bell curve i can show u that the bell curve exist, by taking 10 students telling them to number a paper from one to ten and simply write a T or and F i guarantee that the bell curve will show two students will get between 0 to 3 right and 6 students will get 4 to 7 right and there is always one or two that will get 8-10 right. proving the bell curve now prove me there is a god????
by the way these are not my beliefs its just a suggestion and i dont mean to offend anyone.
